My favourite learning this year was maths. the part of maths that I mostly loved was geometry witch is a kind of Maths but it's challenging which I like and it's kind of hard but not really hard. thank you for reading my blog hop you liked it and my doc.

My terrific Cybersmart session

today in Cybersmart we worked on a practice activity for the summer learning journey. We had to colour a picture that we had chosen from a range of images. This one is really old made at Morocco I really liked how he was not interested if he screwed up he just kept on going with scribbles he really inspired me for if I screw up just keep on going and just forget about it. 

This is the picture that inspired me it's really cool but this is his just I coloured it in his is a different one that I'll put near the end.

The name of the picture is competition and the author is Mohammed melehi. But anyways here is the original picture of competition.

A Quality Blog Post

What I'v learnt today. 

We have been learning about cyber-smart if you don't know what that is its a digital kind of learning like a digital session its fun, hard and challenging but it's mostly challenging and that's what i like we also have an amazing cyber-smart teacher named whaea Sharon she’s amazing, nice and also challenging. I know that a purpose of a blog is to teach others what the meaning of a blog is i copied a picture of my work down below.

My amazing book club experience

My amazing book club experience

first we choose a book that looks interesting. we work with people who chose the same book.

Then we work in our ropu to figure out how many pages we need to read each day.

while reading each section we fill in our discussion ticket with figurative language, vocabulary, favourite paragraph and favourite parts.

here is a picture of the ticket that i've all ready finished.

Finally we share the information from our tickets. Every one in the group has a job here are all of the jobs editor, illustrator, publicist and translator. We then talk about our discussion seeds before filling in our booklet.

This week I chose to read Bertrand's quest.

It's about a guys quest named Bertrand Knights, war and death.

 i'm in a ropu with Mailli, Kahu and Kaiden we are reading this book for 9 days we need to read 18 pages a day.

My amazing bush walk

 On Saturday I went on a bush walk with my Dad and Sister. First we went to the forest and walked around me and my sister drew a pound Stump and tree.Then we went to a park that was right beside the forest my Dad told me to go up and down a rope 10 times and the same thing just up the rope and down the fire pole. Finally we went home picked up the dogs and then went to the beach the dogs ran around and my dad put leashes on them he gave them to me and i found sticks and gave them to the dogs named keke and alice

Comments can be cool

 WALT: Write a comment that makes others feel good.

First we made a draft comment. Then we used our planning documents  to create our plan. We did this in pairs partner was Izah.

While making the plan we used shapes and images . Then we used comix to create our comix. Our plan shaped our work.

I really liked how you could add lots of things to the comic. It was cool that you could choose funny people. The hard bit was moving every think around.

You should have a go with comix.

Cool maths and my amazing dream room

 WALT. Find the Area and perimeter of different shapes.

Today in maths we made our own dream room and we had to do the Area and perimeter of our thing in our room. I had like 15 things in my room. I like my room because it has everything I like.

SC. First we made shapes. Then we named the shapes. Finally we did the Area and perimeter of the shapes.

I enjoyed making my dream room and doing my maths. It was fun because I love maths.

Amazing Area and Perimeter

WALT: find the perimeter and area of different shapes.

Today we did maths and we learnt about the area before we did perimeter not everybody liked it but I know that I did it was fun. Perimeter is the length around a shape. Area is the all of the inside of a shape.

cool book club

 WALT: Book club. Today I got to do a book club. We got to pick our own book and who ever got the same book that person would be in your group. My  group has 92  pages and we have to read 13 pages in one day. Others have like 244 pages we did not read today.

SC. First I picked my book. Then I glued in some things. Finally I filed in that piece of paper up with who gets what job.

I enjoyed  filling in the paper and I bet you I will  love reading my book.

Cool watermelon steps

WALT: I focus on our topic for a report.

s.c: I took my big topic from a watermelon to a slice then a seed.

I started with Fortnight, this was my watermelon. Then I narrowed it down to a character, this is my slice. finally I narrowed it down more to the character black knight, this is my seed.

I think I did well at making it but next time i could  talk about my topic even more.

I enjoyed writing the huarere names in my book. What I found challenging is Writing the Maori names in my book.

Really cool Phases of the Moon

we are learning how to explaining the phases of the moon.Yesterday we learnt about moon phases as part of our maramataka study.  First, I decided what my mahi toi would look like. Next, I began to plan my mahi toi. I started my plan by drawing a diagram. Then i labelled my diagram. Finally I researched the maori words for the moon phases. I had to make sure my diagram was the same as my actual work. It was hard but I really enjoyed making it. Today i learned how to upload a video to my Blog. The  hardest was making the video. This is my maths problem for Wednesday.

Week Planner

Today I made a planner about what I'm  doing this week. I think it is  awesome I love planning my week. It is fun because I can choose what I do. I have different colours for each subject . Paangarau is purple. Reading log is brown. E ako is orange. Epic is green. Te reo matatini is pink. Reo maori is yellow. prodigy is red. Hauora is blue.
